DARKlightNESS (pronounced "Light Within Darkness") weaves the colors of the winds, brass, and percussion, with unique colors from the electric guitar. All the guitar parts are focused on combining technique with technology - though there is no tech required of the guitarist that was not invented by the late 1960's.

Because the music is written in a minimalist style, the titles are all minimalist poems. The 1st movement, "DARKRKRK" (simply pronounced "Dark"), plays with rhythmic usage of delay and echo effects. The 2nd movement, "ohm", layers long reverberation and echo effects to create a chorale-like backdrop for the entire ensemble. The 3rd movement, "ta tte  R.   s" (simply pronounced "Tatters"), is a frenzy of distortion, wah-wah, and pitch-shifting.
